Every five years, the Oregon State Bar sends out an Economic Survey to a random sample of the bar membership. Last fall (2007), this survey was sent out with a new addition: each bar section was given the option to take part in a more specific Hourly Rate Survey. The goal of the new survey was to find out how experience, geography and area of practice impact hourly rates.
Eleven sections agreed to participate in the Hourly Rate Survey. Reports and survey responses are available below for download. Please note that this data should be viewed as a supplement to the 2007 Economic Survey.
