For Tom Kranovich, the OSB's new 2014 president, diversity is a fortunate end result of his true calling: education. He recognized its value as a kid, pursued it as a first career, absorbed it as a young bailiff and today carries it with him into the courtroom. "You're going to be more successful as a lawyer if you teach a jury what you need them to know rather than telling them what you want them to know. The educator in me has never gone away," he tells our writer Karen McGlone.
