Notice of reinstatement
applications
The following attorneys have filed applications
for reinstatement as active members of the Oregon State
Bar pursuant to Rule of Procedure (BR) 8.1.
Shana Pavithran of Issaquah, Wash., OSB #951070. Pavithran seeks reinstatement following suspension July 13, 1999, for nonpayment of the professional liability assessment, and a one-year disciplinary suspension effective Dec. 21, 2002. In re Pavithran, SC S49691, 16 DB Rptr 321 (2002). She will seek a position with a private law firm if reinstated.
Heidi O. Strauch of Vancouver, Wash., #924170. Strauch transferred to inactive status in 2002, and submitted a Form A Resignation in 2004. Upon reinstatement, she plans to provide contract legal services for other attorneys in the Portland/Vancouver area.
The Rules of Procedure require the Board of Governors to conduct an investigation of BR 8.1 reinstatement applications to determine whether applicants possess the good moral character and general fitness to practice law, and that the resumption of the practice of law in this state by these applicants will not be detrimental to the administration of justice or the public interest. Jane Hall Doyon of Santa Monica, Calif., #761384. Hall Doyan seeks reinstatement following her transfer to inactive status on Jan. 28, 1991. She relocated to California in 1993, working part-time as a mediator and provider of contract legal services. (She is also a member of the California, Hawaii and Washington bars.) After reinstatement, she will continue to practice law in California and occasionally in Manzanita, Ore.
Robert B. Noggle of Las Vegas, Nevada, #803286. In 2001, Noggle moved to Las Vegas and transferred his Oregon bar membership to inactive. He is presently employed with Nevada Title Company, a position that does not require active bar membership. Upon reinstatement, Noggle plans to return to Oregon and establish a private law practice.
