ALJ RECRUITMENT — The Workers’ Compensation Board intends to fill an Administrative Law Judge position in the Hearings Division. The position will be located in Eugene. The salary range is $4,566 - $6,370. The position requires periodic travel and working irregular hours. APPELLATE CRIMINAL LAW. The Legal Services Division of the Office of Public Defense Services represents financially eligible persons in criminal and parole appeals before the Oregon Court of Appeals, the Oregon Supreme Court, and, on occasion, the US Supreme Court.  The division is accepting applications for Deputy I and II positions.  The Deputy I position is an ideal entry level opportunity for the individual who has a strong interest in criminal defense, possesses superior research, analytic, and writing skills, and enjoys learning.  An attorney in this position manages a caseload of misdemeanor, simple felony and parole appeals.  The monthly salary range is $3,649 to $4,669, plus full state employment benefits. An applicant for the Deputy II position should have significant appellate law experience, in addition to the attributes mentioned above.  A Deputy II attorney manages a felony caseload.  The monthly salary range is $4438 to $6249, plus full state employment benefits.
