Where to file a disability discrimination complaint
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries are the agencies that regulate and enforce employment discrimination laws in Oregon. The EEOC website is www.eeoc.gov and the Oregon BOLI site is found at www.boli.state.or.us Complaints may be filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission by calling (800) 669-4000 or (800) 669-6820 (TTY), or with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries by calling (971) 673-0764 or (800) 735-2900 (TTY).
Parents may contact the special education department at their local school district, the Oregon Department of Education at (503) 378-3569, the Parent Training and Information Center, (503) 581 8156, or call Disability Rights Oregon, in Portland at (503) 243-2081 or toll free at (800) 452-1694.
