The dates for the remaining 2024 LP Entry Subject Matter Exams are below. Please note the application deadline to be included for each scheduled exam. If you do not meet this deadline, you will be added to the group for the next exam.
Landlord/Tenant Subject Matter Exam - Friday, October 18th
(Application due August 15th)
Family Law Subject Matter Exam - Friday, December 20th
(Application due October 17th)
Individuals interested in becoming a Licensed Paralegal (LP) in Oregon will be required to submit an application to the Oregon State Bar’s Regulatory Counsel’s Office, for review by the Oregon Board of Bar Examiners (BBX). The review will include assessments of learning and abilities, understanding of the scope of the LP license, and a character and fitness review.
