Save the Date for the
2018 OLIO Orientation

August 3-5
Resort at the Mountain

OLIO is the Oregon State Bar’s recruitment and retention program for law students who can contribute to the bar’s historically or currently underrepresented membership; who have experienced economic, social, or other barriers; who have a demonstrated interest in increasing access to justice; or who have personally experienced discrimination or oppression.

The annual OLIO Orientation provides an opportunity for a diverse group of incoming law students to come together with each other, upper division Oregon law students, and the larger Oregon legal community for support, engagement around impactful issues, and skill building for success in law school and beyond.

Interested in supporting students and engaging in the important dialogue taking place at OLIO? The Oregon State Bar’s Diversity & Inclusion Department and Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion are currently accepting proposals for this year’s program. Proposals may include presentations, panel discussions, workshops – all formats will be considered. Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JTKVCRK for more information on how to get involved. Submissions received by March 23, 2018 will be given preference.

OLIO would not be possible without financial support from law firms, organizations, and individuals. More information about the updated sponsorship levels and how to donate is available here.
