Webcast/On-Demand and Downloadable Product Access

Access webcasts, on-demand video, and MP3 downloads by signing into your bar account at www.osbar.org and then clicking on the “My Content” link. Please do not join webcasts more than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Webcast/On-Demand Video

General Information—Webcast: Please do not join the webcast more than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Can't attend at the scheduled time? You may watch an archived video of the seminar at your convenience. The archived video will be available within two weeks after the live webcast, and you will have access for at least a month. Your webcast completion will be reported to the OSB MCLE Department. However, please note that it may take up to 30 days after you complete an online seminar for it to appear on your online MCLE Compliance Report at www.osbar.org.

General Information—On-Demand Video: Your content will be available for 60 days from the date of purchase. You must complete the video within the 60-day access period. There is no limit to the number of times you may view the video within the 60 days. Your on-demand video completion will be reported to the OSB MCLE Department. However, please note that it may take up to 30 days after you complete an online seminar for it to appear on your online MCLE Compliance Report at www.osbar.org.

Log-in Screen Error: If you receive the “You have reached this screen in error” message while attempting to view a webcast or on-demand video, contact the OSB CLE Service Center, (503) 431-6413 or (800) 452-8260, ext. 413.

Video Doesn't Play: First, check the CLE Seminars website for the on-demand platform maintenance schedule. If you are trying to watch during a maintenance period, please try again after the maintenance period is concluded.

Troubleshooting:

Step 1: Refresh the browser window in which you are watching the video. If video still does not play, go to next step.

Step 2: Close all browser tabs, clear your browser's cache (you do not need to clear cookies or browsing history), close and restart your browser, then retry the link from your “My Content” listing.

How to clear your cache:
a. Google Chrome instructions
b. Mozilla Firefox instructions
c. Safari (iOS) instructions
d. Safari (Mac) instructions
e. Internet Explorer instructions
f. Microsoft Edge instructions

Step 3: Log out of any VPN connections.

Step 4: Make sure you are signed out of the webcast or on-demand video across all of your devices. You may have only one active viewing session.

Step 5: Try a different browser, e.g., if you always use Google Chrome, try Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Step 6: Try a different computer or device.

If video still does not play, contact the OSB CLE Service Center, (503) 431-6413 or (800) 452-8260, ext. 413, with as much detail as possible regarding the error(s) you are encountering.

MP3 Download

General Information: Your content will be available for 60 days from the date of purchase or until the MCLE credit expiration date, whichever is earlier. Complete-by dates are indicated on each product's detail page. Files may be downloaded a maximum of 3 times. Please be sure to download the MP3 to your computer or device before the access period ends. Listening to an MP3 download is considered self-study and should be reported on OSB MCLE Form 6 (Contemporaneous Individual Screening Log).

Downloading vs. Play in Browser: In most browsers, clicking on an MP3 download link from your My Content page will cause the MP3 to begin playing in your browser. If you choose to listen in your browser, each listening session will count against your 3-download maximum. It is recommended that you instead download the MP3 to your computer or device for unlimited listening at your convenience.

To Download the MP3:

Windows/Mac computers: In most computer browsers, you can right-click on the play progress bar and select to “Save audio as” or “Save as” and then follow the prompts. (If you are using a Mac with a one-button mouse, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the link to bring up the “Save File As” dialogue.)

Android devices: In your Android browser, long-click (tap and hold) on the MP3 file link and click on Save Link. The MP3 will be stored in the download folder on your device's SD card.

iOS devices: iOS devices do not support downloading and playback of MP3 files. Download the MP3 to a computer with iTunes and then use iTunes to transfer the item to your device.

I registered for a seminar but at the last minute could not attend. What are my options for receiving CLE credit?

If you registered for a live webcast, you will have access to an archived version of the seminar within approximately two weeks after the seminar date. Sign into your account at hello.osbar.org/Product and select the seminar from the “My Content” tab to view the archive version. How do I get an electronic version of course materials for a live webcast?

There are links to the course materials in the webcast viewer; click on the Handouts icon near the bottom of the screen to see available downloads. A link to the electronic materials will also be emailed to you if you register at least three days in advance of the seminar date. The materials can be downloaded from that link to a laptop or tablet.

General Seminar Information

How can I find out about upcoming OSB CLE seminars and events?

Information about OSB CLE seminars is always available on the CLE Seminars website.

How can I start/stop receiving OSB CLE notices by U.S. mail or e-mail?

Please log in to your account on the bar's website and change your preferences for Seminar Brochures & Notices on your Communication Preferences page.

How do I know that I am registered for a seminar?

Once your registration payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation notice via e-mail.

If you registered at least 48 hours prior to the seminar date and did not receive a confirmation notice, please contact the CLE Service Center at (503) 431-6413 or toll-free at (800) 452-8260, ext. 413.

MCLE Credit

How do I get MCLE credit for an event I am/my organization is sponsoring?

The Oregon State Bar MCLE Department is charged with accrediting presentations for MCLE credit. Sponsors must submit a description of the presentation or a schedule, along with the appropriate form. Forms are available from the MCLE home page at www.osbar.org.

For questions, please contact the MCLE Department at (503) 431-6368 or toll-free at (800) 452-8260, ext. 368.

The sponsor of the CLE event I attended did not apply for Oregon MCLE credits. Is it possible for me to still get Oregon-approved credit?

Yes. As a member of the Oregon State Bar, you may apply for credit by completing MCLE Form 2.

For questions regarding MCLE credit and forms, please contact the MCLE Department at (503) 431-6368 or toll-free at (800) 452-8260, ext. 368.

How can I report MCLE credit to another jurisdiction if the CLE event I attended has only been approved for credit in Oregon?

Each state has different rules regarding CLE accreditation and approved formats (e.g., some states limit the number of self-study credits available via video or audio formats or online). Your best resource is to contact the state in which you wish to report the credit to obtain the applicable reporting information.

For events sponsored by the OSB CLE Seminars Department, certificates of attendance are available to indicate the name of the seminar, seminar date and location, and the number and type of credits approved by the Oregon State Bar.
