Moves Cheryl Coon announces the forma- tion of Refugee Disability Benefits of Or- egon (RDBO), a nonprofit that she will direct in efforts on behalf of refugees in Oregon who are disabled and are seeking state and federal benefits. Effective June 3, she will leave Swanson, Thomas, Coon & Newton, where she has led the Social Security team since 2011. Her efforts as chair of the OSB Disability Section as well as chair of the Environmental Law Alliance led to an interest in the plight of refugees in the United States and to her work with the Immigration and Refu- gee Community Organization (IRCO), Catholic Charities and Lutheran Family Services.
